Her stint with the Post met some controversy when she had to write her columns from Washington D.C. to be with her husband. Although the Post wanted Viets to resign when she refused to move back to Missouri, the two parties came to an agreement in Mar. 1996 for Viets to continue writing a column per week from Washington D.C. Viets still feels credible as a St. Louis writer since she still maintains contact with St. Louis events through e-mail, telephone, letters and occasional visits.Citation DetailsTitle: Viets' future with the Post uncertain; she continues to build syndication.
