Albino American Alligator - Shot hand held with a Sony Alpha A700, Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 lens. The alligator moves so slowly, that at first, I thought it was a statue. This is a truly beautiful animal. The pale color reminds me of alabaster or fine marble. Image was shot in color, then converted into a black and white, and finally duotoned to give the final image a distinctive look. The reflection comes from the water surface being just above the alligator.
